College Discipline
  • It is compulsory for students to actively participate, be punctual and be regular in the college prayer, academic and spiritual classes, games and sports and extra - curricular activities. Failure to participate will be deemed as an act of indiscipline and will be subject to disciplinary action .
  • Students must show proper respect to all members of the college.
  • Students should wear simple and proper dress, sari or salwar -kameez with dupatta.
  • Students should maintain complete silence and decorum in the college premises, campus, class-room, library, prayer-hall and the corridors etc. They should help in maintaining the campus spic and span.
  • They should cultivate reading habits and look for important information & instructions, daily, on the notice board.
  • Students, during free periods should not loiter here and there, but should usefully engage themselves by utilizing library reading - room facility . Students should not visit the hostel during college hours.
  • Student, must refrain from activities of political nature, particularly strikes and demonstrations.
  • Representation, regarding complaints and grievances, should be made to the Principal, through the respective teacher - advisor of the student, nominated by the college authorities.
  • Parents, guardians and other persons are not allowed to meet their wards or interview their teachers during college working hours, without prior permission of the Principal.
  • Teaching staff or students will not be called during the teaching hours to answer telephone calls. Messages if any, will be taken down and efforts will be made to convey the same to them .
  • Whenever a student is absent without a leave note for more than three consecutive days, her name will be struck off the rolls. She will be re-admitted only on payment of re-admission fees.
  • All home examinations / tests conducted by the college are compulsory, since these test / examination are conducted on the pattern of the University Examinations. Absence due to unavoidable reasons must be notified to the Principal in writing, after getting it countersigned by the teacher - advisor. Any student who misses the tests /examinations on medical grounds will be re-examined .
  • Students are advised to enroll themselves in the college N.C.C. (Army Wing) and (Naval Wing) as well as in N.S.S. in their own interest, as it would provide them with opportunities to develop physical, leadership, comradeship, discipline etc. Those willing to join may contact Astt.Prof. in-charge of N.C.C. and N.S.S.
  • Participation in college activities and functions organized by the college is compulsory. Under unavoidable circumstances, prior permission of the Principal should be taken. Students who fail to do so will be fined Rs.5/- or more ,depending on the frequency of such omissions.
  • Special attention of the parents / guardian and their wards is drawn to these rules and other college and hostel regulations, in advance, so that the students abide by them strictly .
  • Use and possession of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the college campus.
