Dr Shampa Malhotra

Dr. Shampa Malhotra, was employed as Associate Professor and Head in the Department of English. She rendered 39 years of dedicated services to the institution and retired in July 2023.Her area of research interest was Indian Writing in English and she guided students of MA English for Job oriented Project and Dissertation. She completed two UGC sponsored project as principal investigator. She had published more than 22 papers in International, National Journals & Conferences. She has been the member of Board of Studies of various Autonomous Colleges and Higher Education. She had been BEC Examiner and was also invited as Resource Person by UPSC New Delhi. During her tenure she completed all tasks assigned with full commitment and held various important portfolios-IQAC Coordinator, Hostel In-charge, NSS Officer, Scholarship In-charge, Editor (English Section) of college magazine Divya. She had also been Executive member of English Language Association of India(ELTAI)Bhopal Chapter.
Dr Megha Singh

Dr. Megha Singh has been working as Associate Professor since 2005 and as Head in the Department of English since July 2023.She completed her Doctoral research on Thematic Aspects of the Novels of R.K.Narayan. She has also completed PGDHE from IGNOU and completed one Refresher Course from ARPIT under SWAYAM platform. She has been mentoring students for various courses available in SWAYAM platform. She is also a Research Guide in Barkatullah University. She has rendered 20 years of dedicated services to the institution. Her area of research interest is Indian Writing in English and she has guided students of UG and PG English for Job oriented Projects and Dissertation. She completed one UGC sponsored project as co-investigator on the topic Changing Faces of Women in Popular Hindi Cinema. She has published 40 papers in International, National Journals, books & Conferences. She is Editor of the collegiate multi-disciplinary research Journal Highbrow. She also delivered lectures on Communication Skills at Administrative Academy, Bhopal during the Orientation Programme of Class I and II Gazetted Officers. She completed all tasks assigned with full commitment and held various important portfolios-IQAC Criteria IV in-charge ,Member, Admission Committee,Deputy Coordinator, Printing Cell under Autonomous Exam Cell, Chief Editor of college magazine Divya.ACS during Exams. She has also been Executive member of English Language Association of India(ELTAI),Bhopal Chapter.

Dr Sameeksha Sharma is rendering her dedicated services in the Department of English as Guest faculty and has an experience of 3 years in UG and PG teaching. Her specialization is in Psychodynamic Perspectives in the plays of Jean Paul Sartre and Edward Albee: A Comparative Study.She has participated in various seminars and conferences and has 11 publications to her credit.
