Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology was established in the year 1976. The department has a well equipped laboratory with various types of apparatus and paper-pencil tests.

Aims of the department:-
  • To motivate and guide students with quality education in Psycholog.
  • Students will gain knowledge of personality
  • Students will be able to critically assess the information related to the study of behavior and mental processes.
  • Students will learn to implement techniques of personality development.

Departmental Activities:

  • On the occasion of Mental Health Day Mrs Jyoti Bharti organize a special lecture on Effectiveness of Mental Wellness among students. Ms Kumud Singh guest speaker discussed about the impact that gender discrimination and patriarchal mindset has on the mental health of both men and women.
  • Students of psychology department visit to composite regional center [ CRC] on 11.03.2022. where students get aware about the occupational therapy physiotherapy and learn about specific learning disability types and its features.
  • Students of psychology department visit to old age home where student know about old age problem and provide some gift and fruits to them.
  • Department of Psychology is organized a poster making competition were mental health awareness facts has been shown in the poster made by the students.
